Physician Assistant

Kara was born and raised in Harrison, Arkansas.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. While attending the U of A, Kara began her medical career by working closely with Dr. Clifton as a nursing assistant.  Because of her love for medicine, especially dermatology, Kara decided to take her career to the next level.  Kara received her Master’s degree from Missouri State University to become a licensed Physician Assistant. Kara is licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  Recently, Kara achieved SDPA Diplomat status, the highest honor available as a dermatology physician assistant.  She enjoys caring for patients and customizing treatment plans for both medical and cosmetic skin problems. When she's not working, she enjoys reading, landscaping and spending time with her family.
